The US M1917 Bayonet with Scabbard is one of the most rare bayonets produced for use by the US military. These bayonets were put back into production to support the Vietnam War where they were used with the "trench gun" to great effect. This limited use of these bayonets meant not many were produced compared to the WWI variant and considering most that were sent to Vietnam never made it back after the war. We purchased these bayonets from an official US Army sales auction, with them being excess stock from the 1960s.
