The Russian Vepr 7.62x54r is a great alternative to the original SVD rifle that is banned for import. We replaced the factory furniture with a special SVD style furniture set made by Russian wood masters. This high quality wood set incorporates a slotted handguard, ergonomic pistol grip, engraved rubber buttpad, and a cutout for an original SVD cheekrest which we have installed. Barrel is threaded allowing for a wide variety of muzzle attachments to be mounted. All you need is a Soviet optic which can be mounted via side scope rail, and you have a truly unique SVD clone. Due to the limited production of this wood furniture set, these rifles are built in small batches.
